Where's Rabbit Mountain - Aug 28, '99

Hi Natalie, Mort, Daryl and Julie

As a longtime resident, I want to know just where is Rabbit Mountain? I have suspicions that the whole thing might be made up.  I know you guys wanted immediate feedback, but even though your mom and I loved the site, we just didn't have the energy to rip off a big email to you - sorry. The pictures sure showed us that we have a lot to learn to use our Photo Deluxe software and reminded me of another reason that I didn't consider becoming a doctor - I can't see a face or hand in either of the pics but your mom claims that she can - I think it must be a grandmother thing. Anyway, the site's great and we look forward to watching the development of the Lit'l Appleseed's site.

I got a nice email from Natalie today, she suggested that I get a job writing a column for a paper. I wonder who would pay for my pieces of semi-literate drivel three times a year - can you imagine how hard it would be to meet a deadline each day or week? She also asked about the D and T Olanders listed in the family spam. They would be my brother's oldest son, David and his wonderful, patient wife Tracy. She is probably destined for sainthood - now that I think of it, any women who marries an Olander should immediately be canonized and not be required to wait for a posthumous reward.

B's second son, Mike, is not listed in the family spam because I was told that his modem was fried. Natalie pointed out that as one of the youngest Olanders he should be among the most cyber-active, maybe that is what burned up his modem. On the other hand, being the last surviving Olander bachlor (Grant and Rick don't count), maybe the material he was downloading torched it. The last address I had for Mike was an SDSU.ED address but I believe he should have graduated by now. I'm sure that Byron would provide the address if you asked.

The vacation is on, but the job is out.

Sharon's boss finally decided to decline her vacation request because she did not have enough vacation hours to cover the entire two weeks. The resignation will hit his desk soon. Gad, if she's not working, think of all the free time on her hands and all of the sewing stores she can visit. I can see the acquisition of another couple of sewing machines - being out of room to set them up doesn't seem to deter her. By the way, she has tried to reserve some of my time for tomorrow so that we can do some "window" shopping for computers - doesn't she remember that the damn things are big impulse buys?

Well, that's enough for now,

Sharon and I send our love to ya'll
